Multilingual DTP

Do you have documents in different file formats that you need translated and formatted into final ready-to-print files? We are here to help you. We operate as a one-stop-shop, working closely with our partner DTP team, to provide the localised version of your documents in the proper format.

What’s important in multilingual DTP

Multilingual Desktop Publishing (DTP) is simply converting and adapting an existing graphic design document/file into another language.

But this is not as simple as it sounds. Texts get bigger or smaller when translated from one language to another, affecting the layout. Moreover, graphics and images may not be suitable for all audiences.

So this is where the challenge lies in multilingual DTP: striking a balance between culturally appropriate content and graphics, within the constraints of the original layout.

Multilingual DTP consists of 3 steps:

  1. Translating/Localising the text. With 20+ years of experience in the business, we provide quality translations, adapted to local needs.
  2. Typesetting the translated text. Typesetting processing becomes essential when using non-Roman alphabet languages, such as Greek. Our partner team of graphic designers are seasoned professionals in this field.
  3. Producing the required digital or ready-to-print file. We take care of your project from start to finish, delivering the end product in your format of choice.
